FG Declares April 18th and 21st Easter Public Holidays

The Federal Government has declared Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, as public holidays to mark Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on behalf of the Federal Government.

In a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, Tunji-Ojo emphasized the significance of reflecting on the values of sacrifice and love exemplified by Jesus Christ, who died for the redemption of humanity.

He also urged Nigerians to use the holiday period to pray for the peace, unity, and stability of the nation.
