“Fuel scarcity affects everyone, not just drivers” — Lady urges Nigerians to focus on government issues

A woman has urged Nigerians to pay closer attention to national issues following another bout of fuel scarcity across the country.

In a video circulating on social media, she expressed concern that public conversations often drift toward distractions instead of focusing on government policies and decisions that directly affect citizens.

“Another episode of fuel scarcity. Nigerians focus on distractions instead of governmental issues. We need to start talking,” she said.

She noted that rising fuel prices and shortages have consequences that go far beyond motorists. According to her, increases in fuel costs eventually affect transportation fares, food prices and other everyday expenses.

“It doesn’t only affect drivers or people who have cars. It will affect transport fares and the price of things like beans and rice,” she explained.

She also encouraged Nigerians to be more vocal about policies and legislative decisions that impact their lives, rather than waiting for others to raise the issues.

“Do your part. The person with ten million followers today started with one follower. People believed in them because they spoke up,” she added.
