Cristiano Ronaldo’s wife, Georgina Rodríguez, is reportedly in the process of adopting his three older children and becoming their legal mother.
The development comes just over a week after the couple got married. According to reports from the Portuguese press, Rodríguez is completing the adoption process privately, with the proceedings described as “secret adoptions” because the necessary paperwork is being handled away from public attention.
Rodríguez has been in a relationship with Ronaldo since 2016 and has played an active role in raising his children. Ronaldo has previously spoken about the close bond between Rodríguez and his children, noting that she treats them as her own.
Ronaldo’s eldest child, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., was born in 2010 before the couple began dating. His twins, Eva Maria and Mateo, were born in June 2017 through a surrogate.
Later that same year, Rodríguez and Ronaldo welcomed their first child together, Alana Martina. The family expanded again in 2022 with the birth of their daughter, Bella Esmeralda.
If completed, the reported adoption would formally recognize Rodríguez as the mother of Ronaldo’s three older children.
