The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, is set to give away nine of his children in marriage on a single day. The former Zamfara State Governor, who is married to four wives—Aisha, Balkisu, Fatima, and Dadiya—will host the celebrations in February.
According to a general invitation posted by Dan Jafaru Aleengoo Turakee, the weddings are scheduled for February 6, 2026, at the Central Mosque in Abuja.
Details from separate invitations reveal the following unions:
- Former Speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, will marry Nana Bello Matawalle.
- Ibrahim Sahabi Liman will wed Farida Bello Matawalle.
- Safiya Bello Matawalle is set to marry Yazid Shehu Dan Fulani.
- Umar Ibrahim Danmaliki will tie the knot with Aisha Bello Matawalle.
