Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has urged Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the last election, to throw his support behind President Bola Tinubu in addressing the nation’s challenges.
According to a statement by Ibrahim Addra, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Governor Sule made this appeal during a courtesy visit by Obi to the Government House in Lafia.
The Governor emphasized the importance of collective effort in governance, stating that it is crucial for individuals with valuable experience like Obi to contribute to the administration led by President Tinubu.
He stated, “I want to also call on you Sir to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The country’s challenges cannot be resolved by one person only. We all have roles to play.”
