Veteran Nigerian actor Segun Remi, widely recognized by his stage name Chief Kanran, passed away yesterday morning at the age of 72.
Chief Kanran was a beloved figure in the Yoruba film industry, celebrated for his distinctive style, humor, and powerful performances in numerous stage plays and movies spanning several decades.
The cause of his death has not yet been disclosed.
