Nigerian winger Moses Simon has officially completed his transfer from Nantes to Paris FC, the Ligue 1 club announced on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old signed a three-year deal as Paris FC prepares for its first season back in the French top division since 1978–79.
Simon’s move comes amid major changes at Paris FC, following the takeover by the Arnault family and Austrian energy drink company Red Bull in November. The new ownership played a key role in securing the club’s promotion, with former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp now serving as Red Bull’s global head of football.
Over six seasons at Nantes, Simon made 201 appearances and scored 37 goals. Although the transfer fee was undisclosed, Paris FC’s sporting director François Ferracci revealed that signing Simon had been a long-standing priority.
“Moses was a priority for us, and despite interest from many clubs, he showed genuine enthusiasm for our project,” Ferracci said.
