Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface is reportedly close to securing a move to Serie A giants AC Milan.
According to Sky Sports reporter Patrick Berger, Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan are in advanced negotiations to finalize a permanent transfer deal.
“Victor Boniface (24) is close to joining AC Milan! The Italian side and Bayer Leverkusen are in direct talks to finalize a permanent deal,” Berger shared on his X account.
Milan is said to have submitted an official offer within the last 48 hours, which Leverkusen is currently reviewing. Talks are progressing well, with all parties optimistic about concluding the transfer.
Boniface has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Milan and is now waiting for the final confirmation.
The striker was an unused substitute during Leverkusen’s recent DFB-Pokal win against Sonnenhof Großaspach. Should the move go through, Boniface will reunite with fellow Nigerian and Milan star Samuel Chukwueze.
