The Presidency has clarified that President Bola Tinubu is not focused on the 2027 election but is instead dedicated to implementing economic policies designed to improve the lives of Nigerians.
Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications, Sunday Dare, emphasized that the president is prioritizing the long-term effects of his policies over political calculations for the upcoming election. In a post on his X page on Friday night, Dare stated:
“President Tinubu is not worried about the next election. He is focused on the shared prosperity he aims to bring to Nigerians,” Dare wrote. “He is concerned about the impact of the reforms he has introduced and the future of the country’s economy. That is his main priority.”
