Nollywood actor and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kenneth Okonkwo, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu’s Chicago State University certificate is fake, claiming it did not originate from the institution.
The controversy over Tinubu’s educational background has persisted, with various claims and allegations surrounding his academic qualifications and school records.
In a post on X on Wednesday, August 19, Okonkwo urged Nigerians to focus on voting Tinubu out of office in the 2027 presidential election rather than dwelling on the controversy over his certificates.
“Tinubu’s Chicago State University certificate did not emanate from the University, it is fake. The most important thing in 2027 is to get Tinubu out of power,” he wrote.
Okonkwo also called on people from the South-East to build strategic alliances with other groups if the region is to produce Nigeria’s next president.
He expressed confidence that the ADC presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, would deliver a transformational government if elected.
“Ndigbo needs wise alignment with other people to achieve being President in Nigeria,” Okonkwo said.
“Atiku will establish a transitional and transformational government to rebuild Nigeria that Tinubu is destroying,” he added.
