Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the violent attack and robbery of Nigerian singer Lil Kesh at his residence in Lagos.
The suspects, identified as Mathew Adewole (25) and Mukhtar Muhammad (31), were apprehended in Kano following intelligence-led tracking. According to police spokesperson SP Abdullahi Haruna, Adewole confessed to the August 19 attack, during which the singer sustained a deep neck wound. The suspects also allegedly forced Lil Kesh to transfer ₦2.1 million to Mukhtar’s bank account.
Both men have been transferred to the Lagos State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.
