Uzodinma appoints self as commissioner for land in Imo

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has taken on the role of commissioner for lands in the state. This decision was revealed during the inauguration of 24 newly appointed commissioners at the Government House in Owerri on Tuesday, April 30.

The governor stated that his decision to appoint himself as the commissioner for lands is a proactive measure to prevent a recurrence of past controversies. He referenced a previous commissioner who was involved in contentious land transactions towards the end of his first tenure.
