As the 2027 general election approaches, actor Yul Edochie has expressed the view that Peter Obi cannot become President of Nigeria at this time.
In a post shared on social media on April 21, Edochie claimed that any political party Obi joins would “scatter,” adding that his current involvement with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is “dead on arrival” and a “waste of time.”
He wrote that the situation is not about physical or surface-level issues but something deeper, suggesting that Obi may either be unaware of it or choosing to ignore it.
“Any political party Peter Obi joins will scatter,” he wrote. “Whatever he’s doing with ADC is dead on arrival. A total waste of time. It’s not a physical problem. It’s deeper than that. I’m surprised he doesn’t know this already. Or maybe he knows but chooses to ignore it. But the truth remains the truth. Peter Obi cannot be President of Nigeria now.”
