According to Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Police Spokesperson, a significant portion of the youth population in Sagamu, Ogun State, is involved in cult activities. He asserted this statement on September 18, and he remains confident in his assertion. He stated, “I am an authority on Sagamu case, and those familiar with the situation can verify it. Nobody from Sagamu can dispute my claims.”
He further mentioned that “the community leaders are aware of how to address this issue,” and “the politicians are informed about the necessary actions.” These comments were shared on social media platform X following a series of cult-related incidents that resulted in the deaths of at least 20 individuals in Sagamu.
