On the evening of Friday, November 3, the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, narrowly escaped a life-threatening incident when a private jet operated by Flint Aero crash-landed in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State. The aircraft, which had departed from Abuja, encountered difficulties during its landing attempt at around 10 p.m., ultimately crash-landing near the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan. The aircraft veered off the runway, resulting in a crash in the nearby bush.

Fortunately, only the pilot and the Minister of Power were aboard the aircraft, and there were no fatalities. However, the aircraft sustained significant damage as a result of the incident. The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
