Approximately 65 directors fell short of the qualifying mark in the ongoing promotion examination for the Permanent Secretary position within the country.
Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOS), disclosed that out of the 85 directors initially invited to participate in the promotion assessment for the federal civil service’s Permanent Secretary role, only 20 directors successfully cleared the examination. Yemi-Esan further noted that four of the invited candidates did not take the test, possibly due to concerns about failing.
M.A. Ahmed, the Director of Communications at the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), commented on the situation, explaining that candidates were required to achieve a minimum score of 50% to advance to the subsequent stage of the examination. Ahmed also revealed that only 20 candidates met the criteria for the Information Communication Technology (ICT) proficiency test.
