
Nigeria’s Falconets have been drawn in Pot 2 ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup draw scheduled for Friday at the EC1 Cultural Centre in Łódź, Poland.
The Falconets are grouped in Pot 2 alongside the United States, Colombia, Mexico, Canada, and New Zealand.
Nigeria secured qualification for the expanded 24-team tournament over the weekend, earning one of Africa’s four available slots. The Falconets remain one of the most consistent teams in the history of the competition.
Head coach Moses Aduku and Team Administrator Kelechi Omeke are expected to represent Nigeria at the draw ceremony.
The 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will take place in four Polish cities — Łódź, Katowice, Sosnowiec, and Bielsko-Biała — from September 5 to September 27, 2026.
