Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, South-South leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former Minister of Transportation, has declared his determination to stop President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from securing a second term in the 2027 general elections.

Addressing supporters at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Wednesday, July 23, Amaechi voiced strong discontent with the current administration, holding it responsible for the worsening economic conditions in the country.

“I’m tired of this government. If a rich man is spending N4 million on electricity, only God knows how the masses are surviving,” he said, according to Vanguard.

Amaechi called on Rivers State residents to register with the ADC, emphasizing the need to end electoral manipulation and reclaim political control in the region.

“We must stop the writing of results in Rivers. Go and register with the ADC and let’s change the system,” he urged.
