Police in Atlanta, United States, are investigating an alleged robbery after a man reported that two women he invited to his home drugged him and stole luxury watches valued at more than $25,000.
According to local reports, the incident began when the man met the women at the St. Regis Hotel in Atlanta’s Buckhead district. He later invited them to his residence.
The man told investigators that he lost consciousness after the women arrived at his home and believes he was drugged. When he woke up, the women were gone, and several high-end watches worth over $25,000 were missing.
As part of the ongoing investigation, authorities have released surveillance footage showing the women accompanying the alleged victim into an elevator before the incident.
Police have not revealed what substance may have been used, and it remains unclear how long the man was unconscious. Efforts are ongoing to identify and locate the women, while the case remains under investigation.
