Blessing CEO Okoro has disappeared from Instagram following a heated interview in which a medical doctor challenged her cancer claims.

Blessing, who describes herself as a relationship expert, appeared on Arise TV on April 4, where she was questioned about her health disclosures. During the interview, Adefunke Arowolo disputed several of Blessing’s statements, saying they were not medically accurate.

Dr. Arowolo further stated that she contacted the pathologist whose name appeared on the cancer report presented by Blessing. According to her, the doctor is based in Asaba—not Enugu as claimed—and denied any knowledge of the report. He also reportedly said he has not visited Enugu in recent times.

“I know that for an absolute fact,” Dr. Arowolo said during the broadcast.

Following this revelation, Blessing appeared visibly uncomfortable. It was also alleged that the medical report she presented on air is the same document circulating online—one she had previously denied releasing after a family accused her of taking their relative’s report and altering it by inserting her own name.

After the interview, public backlash intensified, with many Nigerians calling for an investigation into the matter, particularly over allegations that she may have misled the public for financial gain.

Shortly afterward, Blessing deactivated her Instagram account. A search for her page, which previously had 1.4 million followers, now returns “no user found.”
