Borehole Installation for Federal Road Safety Corps, Mowe Unit, Ogun State

In a strong commitment to community support and frontline welfare, Mate Energy Industries Limited, Mowe, Ogun State, has commissioned a borehole facility for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mowe Unit, as part of its 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

The borehole was officially commissioned on August 5, 2025, by Sector Commander Akinwumi Fasakin, marking an important milestone in the company’s ongoing dedication to bolstering essential public service institutions and enhancing community wellbeing.

The ceremony brought together company leaders, including Managing Director/CEO Mr. Akinrotogun Rabiu; General Manager Mr. Olalere Akeem; Head of Human Resources and Administration Mr. Tola Thompson Odushe; alongside senior FRSC officials such as Corps Commander Akinwumi Fasakin, Unit Commander Jachi Akpaju, and Corridor Commander Abdullahi Suleimon Denja, all of whom expressed gratitude for the impactful intervention.

Highlighting the growing importance of sustainable partnerships between private and public sectors, Mate Energy Industries explained that the FRSC Mowe Unit was chosen due to its vital role in maintaining road safety and delivering emergency response services. Acknowledging the daily challenges faced by officers, especially in areas with limited access to clean water, the company saw the borehole project as a means to ease operational burdens and improve the overall health and welfare of the unit.

Managing Director/CEO Mr. Akinrotogun Rabiu remarked, “Investing in those who keep our roads safe is one of the most meaningful ways to give back to society as a responsible corporate citizen. This borehole represents more than just access to water—it symbolizes dignity, support, and partnership.”

With this new borehole, FRSC officers now have dependable access to clean water—an essential resource that will enhance their health, morale, and effectiveness.
