“Cross-Dresser Arrested Inside Church in Adamawa”

The Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of 19-year-old Mohammed Umar, a resident of Abuja Road in Yola South Local Government Area, for allegedly loitering around the premises of LCCN Church in Ngurore while dressed in attire typically associated with the opposite sex.

The arrest, which took place on May 18, followed a report made by one Sunday Andrawus to the Ngurore Divisional Police Headquarters, who noticed the suspect’s suspicious movements within the church compound.

In response, the Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, ordered that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yola, for a thorough investigation.

The Command reiterated its commitment to maintaining public order and safety, urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities promptly to the authorities.
