One of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ close friends has spoken out about a terrifying incident inside MDC Brooklyn, where the music mogul is currently serving his sentence.

According to Charlucci Finney, Diddy awoke one night to find a knife pressed against his throat — a moment that could have ended in tragedy. Finney told the Daily Mail he wasn’t sure whether guards intervened or if Diddy managed to fight off the attacker himself, but said it was a very close call.

Sources confirmed the incident to TMZ, describing it as a targeted act of intimidation. Finney suggested the attack was meant to scare Diddy, noting that prison can be especially dangerous for inmates with sex-related convictions.

During Diddy’s sentencing, his attorney Brian Steel referenced the same incident, saying that a guard stopped the inmate before any serious harm occurred.

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month federal sentence after being convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act, which prohibits transporting individuals across state lines for unlawful purposes. He was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Meanwhile, reports have surfaced claiming that former U.S. President Donald Trump is considering pardoning Diddy. The White House Communications Office has denied these claims, though TMZ maintains that its sources stand by the story.

Prison consultant Sam Mangel, speaking on TMZ Live, said Diddy is expected to be moved to a less violent facility soon, though he warned that the recent incident underscores why the rapper must remain vigilant.

For now, Diddy’s safety remains a serious concern among those close to him, with Finney describing the ordeal as “terrifying” and a sobering reminder of how quickly things can escalate behind prison walls.
