Bayern Munich have been crowned Bundesliga champions for a record-extending 34th time after Bayer Leverkusen were held to a 2-2 draw by Freiburg on Sunday.

The dramatic result secured the title for Bayern, despite their own 3-3 draw against RB Leipzig the day before.

The Bavarians had mounted an impressive comeback from two goals down to lead 3-2 in Leipzig, only to concede a stoppage-time equaliser. That result left second-placed Leverkusen needing a win to stay in the title race—but their failure to secure all three points handed the championship to Bayern.

The triumph marks a significant milestone for English striker Harry Kane, who finally claims his first major club trophy after years of near misses at Tottenham Hotspur. Since arriving at Bayern last summer, Kane has been instrumental in their domestic campaign, providing crucial goals and leadership throughout the season.

This latest Bundesliga title further cements Bayern Munich’s dominance in German football, extending their run to an unprecedented 12 consecutive league championships. Despite moments of inconsistency, Bayern’s depth, experience, and resilience proved decisive in a title race that ultimately lacked strong challengers.
