The remains of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari have been laid to rest at his residence in Daura, his hometown in Katsina State.
The body, which arrived from the United Kingdom earlier on Tuesday, was received at Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport in Katsina by President Bola Tinubu.
Buhari, who served as Nigeria’s president from 2015 to 2023, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at a hospital in London.
