Former President Donald Trump has outlined his priorities for his potential return to office if reelected.

Trump declared that one of his foremost actions upon assuming a second term would be to “liberate” individuals convicted in connection with the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, whom he insists are unjustly incarcerated. He conveyed this commitment, presumably regarding the exercise of presidential pardon authority, via his social media platform on Monday night. Additionally, he pledged to close the border promptly upon his reinstatement at the White House.

In his statement, Trump affirmed, “My first acts as your next President will be to Close the Border, DRILL, BABY, DRILL, and Free the January 6 Hostages being wrongfully imprisoned!”
