Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State expressed gratitude for the support of President Bola Tinubu, stating that he stands strong due to Tinubu’s assistance. Speaking during a special thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Opobo Town, Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area on Sunday, January 28, Fubara praised Tinubu as a “great and wonderful father.”

Fubara acknowledged the challenges faced on the journey and recognized the absence of some who began the journey but could not be present. He emphasized his belief in the divine purpose behind events, expressing gratitude to God for strength and the ability to continue the battle. Fubara credited his standing to the support of President Tinubu, thanking him as a key figure in his journey.

Acknowledging the sacrifices made by his family for the cause, Fubara expressed gratitude to his loved ones and recognized the suffering they endure. He thanked other leaders and the people of Rivers State for their unwavering support and solidarity in upholding the truth despite provocations.

Reflecting on the challenges and distractions faced, Fubara expressed confidence in navigating the path of peace with the support of prayers. He called on the people to continue offering prayers for the progress of the state and reassured them of his commitment to fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him.
