Gunmen suspected of being kidnappers have abducted 22-year-old Fatima Bello and her 3-year-old daughter, Nana Unaisa, in Malikawa Sarari, Bichi Local Government Area of Kano State.
According to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bichi, six armed assailants stormed the home of Bello Murtala around 9:00 p.m. on February 19, 2025. They fired shots into the air before kidnapping his wife and daughter, fleeing the scene on motorcycles.
A police patrol team, led by the DPO, responded to the distress call but arrived to find the kidnappers had already escaped.
The police have assured that efforts are underway to rescue the victims and apprehend the abductors.
