Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello has declared that she has no desire to relocate abroad, insisting that Nigeria remains her home despite the country’s challenges.
Speaking at 20+ Years in the Media: Real Talk with Kike @7, the actress, who previously lived in the United States, said she preferred to remain in Nigeria because of the opportunities available in the country.
“America trained me, but Nigeria made me,” she said, adding that she hoped never to have a reason to return to the US permanently.
While acknowledging challenges in electricity, education and healthcare, Bello encouraged young Nigerians to identify their strengths, develop relevant skills and make the most of available opportunities.
She also credited her longevity in the entertainment industry to authenticity and honesty, urging young people to remain true to themselves and hold firmly to their faith.
