Nigerian music star Kizz Daniel has debunked reports claiming that a court ordered the freezing of his personal and business bank accounts due to an alleged contract breach.
A viral report had alleged that the singer was fined €200,000 in damages for failing to perform at a scheduled show despite receiving a $50,000 advance, and that his Access Bank accounts were frozen by court order.
However, in a statement issued on Thursday, September 25, 2025, Kizz Daniel’s team dismissed the claims as false and misleading, labeling them a deliberate attempt to tarnish the artist’s reputation.
The statement also warned that legal action would be taken against individuals or platforms spreading the rumor, adding that the singer remains fully focused on his music and upcoming performances.
“This isn’t the first time false narratives have been circulated about Kizz Daniel,” the team noted, referencing a past incident where a promoter allegedly used the singer’s name and image to promote a festival that never took place.
