Due to low enrolment, the National Examinations Council (NECO) has made changes to the schedule for the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination into the 110 Federal Unity Colleges and the entrance examination into Federal Government Academy, Suleja.

In a statement released by the acting Director, Directorate of Information and Digital Communication, Azeez Sani, the exams, originally planned for April 20, 2024, have been rescheduled. The National Common Entrance Examination will now take place on June 1, 2024, while the entrance examination for gifted and talented children into the Federal Government Academy, Suleja, has been moved to May 25, 2024, from its earlier date of May 4, 2024.

The rescheduling of these exams is a response to the low number of candidates enrolled. All candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and relevant stakeholders are advised to take note of these new dates. Registration for candidates will continue until the new examination dates.
