Niger State Governor dismisses Commissioners but retains SSG and others

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has dissolved the State Executive Council (SEC).

He made the announcement during a Council meeting held on Monday morning, September 1, at the Council Chambers in Minna, the state capital.

The governor expressed gratitude to the SEC members for their contributions to the state’s development and wished them success in their future endeavors.

However, he confirmed that the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, and other principal officers in his office have been retained.
