Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has dismissed speculation surrounding the future of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, insisting the Turkish champions have no plans to part ways with the Nigerian forward despite growing interest from Europe’s elite clubs.

Speaking in an interview with Sabah, Özbek acknowledged that Osimhen’s impressive performances have naturally attracted attention from some of the continent’s biggest teams but stressed that Galatasaray remain committed to keeping him.

“It is only natural for every successful player at Galatasaray to attract the interest of major European clubs,” Özbek said.

“That shows our club is on the right path. However, our priority is always Galatasaray’s interests. Osimhen is a world-class player and he is happy here. We have no intention of selling him.”

The 27-year-old enjoyed a remarkable 2025/26 campaign, producing 22 goals and eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions, directly contributing to 30 goals.

His outstanding form played a key role in helping Galatasaray secure a fourth consecutive Turkish Süper Lig title and reach the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
