Big Brother Naija star Phyna has criticised Nigerian hookup girls, accusing some of them of paying little attention to their appearance compared to women in the same industry in other countries.
In a video, Phyna recounted her recent visit to Kenya, where she said she noticed that women involved in the adult lifestyle industry put more effort into their outfits, makeup and overall appearance.
“I want to beg our hookup girls. I’m on my knees. You girls are not even taking this your job serious,” she said.
Phyna specifically mentioned women around Orchid Road and Farm City in Lagos, claiming that some of them go out without making much effort to look presentable.
“You just wear clothes as if you are going to buy a recharge card. They are wearing slippers. They’re wearing just one kind gown like that. No makeup, no lip gloss,” she complained.
She also questioned why some women become upset when clients offer them low amounts, arguing that they should pay more attention to their appearance and presentation.
The reality TV star advised them to wear heels, apply makeup and make their outfits more attractive.
“At least, try and do lip combo. People just wear the wig, wear your clothes like that, wear bedroom slippers and stand on the road,” she added.
Phyna maintained that the women she encountered in Kenya appeared more deliberate about their appearance and urged Nigerian hookup girls to improve their presentation.
