Police Declare Two Men Wanted Over Murder of Woman in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has declared two men wanted in connection with the alleged murder of a woman in the Ikoyi area of the state.

The command made the announcement in separate wanted-person bulletins issued on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

The suspects were identified as 32-year-old Folawiyo Alagbado and 33-year-old Ajibola Obateru.

According to the police, the two men allegedly conspired with others to attack the victim, kill her and dispose of her body at an unknown location. They were also accused of taking away her personal belongings.

The police described Alagbado as a Yoruba male, aged 32, of average height, with an oval face, wide nose, dark complexion and round chin. His last known address was reportedly in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Obateru, also identified as Yoruba, is 33 years old and approximately 5.9ft tall, with a thin build, oval face, fair complexion, long nose and pointed chin. He was described as having thick black hair and a gentle appearance, with his last known address also listed as Ibadan, Oyo State.

The command urged anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of either suspect to report to the nearest police station or contact the Office of the Commissioner of Police at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Musiliu Smith Street, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.

The police assured members of the public that information provided would assist ongoing efforts to apprehend the suspects and advance the investigation.
