Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade has revealed that the team is still waiting for the $100,000 payment that was promised to them.
In a recent interview, Ajibade was asked if the funds had been disbursed. She confirmed that, despite widespread belief, the players have not received any part of the money.
“We’ve not received anything,” she said. “People think it has already been shared or that we’ve gotten a percentage, but no — we’re still waiting. Hopefully, when it’s paid, everyone will see. Even the bonuses and other entitlements are still pending. We haven’t received anything yet.”
