Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his unprecedented focus on infrastructure development in the Southeast, emphasizing that the region now has every reason to support the President. Speaking to journalists at Nine Mile Corner on Sunday, September 15, after inspecting the ongoing dual carriageway project linking Nassarawa, Makurdi, and Nine Mile, Umahi highlighted the numerous road projects underway as clear proof that the Southeast has not been overlooked.
“President Tinubu has shown great commitment to the Southeast, and we have no reason to complain. We must be wise and engage based on facts, not emotions. We will change the narrative in the Southeast, educate our people, and guide them towards the center, where Mr. President is already leading us,” he stated.
