Chelsea and Super Eagles legend, John Obi Mikel, has made a compelling effort to persuade Victor Osimhen to join Chelsea in the upcoming season.
During the latest episode of his podcast, “The Obi One,” where Victor Osimhen was a guest, Mikel expressed his intention to facilitate the deal with his former club. He assured the Napoli striker that he would personally “broker that deal” to bring him to Chelsea, confidently stating, “You’re 100% coming to Chelsea!”
Mikel advised Osimhen against considering offers from Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that the next season is the opportune time for him to join Chelsea. He passionately conveyed, “I’m going to be the agent to broker that deal. You’re 100% coming to Chelsea!”
Addressing Osimhen, Mikel highlighted the significance of the striker’s potential move, stating, “You are 100% going to Chelsea next season because we are crying out for someone like you since the big man left, Didier Drogba.” Mikel underscored the need for a player with Osimhen’s stature, goal-scoring ability in crucial matches, and asserted, “I feel like you are that person and fit in with what we want to achieve at that club.”
