Youths in Gboko, Benue State, have apprehended a suspected thief accused of terrorizing students at Fidei Polytechnic. The suspect was caught on the morning of Thursday, February 6, 2025, while attempting to steal from a student.
Joseph Godwin Kumaga, a local resident, reported that a bunch of keys wrapped in charms was found on the suspect. “The thief, who has been troubling Fidei students, was caught by the ATONKO YOUTH this morning while trying to steal from a student. He had a bunch of keys wrapped in voodoo charms, which he uses to unlock padlocks. According to the thief, he travels from Gboko South to Gboko West to carry out his activities,” Kumaga stated.
