Laycon has reflected on a challenging period in his life during his time on Big Brother Naija Season 5.
In an interview on Echo Room, he revealed that his mother was seriously ill while he was in the house.
He explained that winning the competition meant everything to him at the time, as he feared that finishing as runner-up could have had serious consequences for his family. According to him, the pressure was intense, and he believed that if he had not emerged winner, his mother might not have survived.
