The nominees for the 69th Ballon d’Or ceremony in 2025 have been announced, featuring stars like Ousmane Dembélé, Kylian Mbappé, and Mohamed Salah.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Dembélé is the favorite to claim his first Ballon d’Or after an impressive season with 36 goals and 13 assists across all competitions for club and country. He also helped PSG secure both the Champions League and the French league titles.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, who won the Premier League, and Barcelona’s La Liga champion Raphinha are among the other prominent nominees.

Notably absent from the list are Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, fresh off winning the UEFA Nations League in June, and Lionel Messi of Inter Miami.
