La Liga giants Barcelona are reportedly considering a transfer for Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman as they seek to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.
According to Catalan outlet 3cat, new Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has personally backed the potential signing.
While Liverpool’s Luis Díaz remains Barcelona’s primary target, talks with the Premier League club have stalled. Díaz has also been linked with a possible move to Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli, complicating negotiations further.
Lookman, who has one year left on his contract with Atalanta, is said to be open to a summer exit. The 27-year-old Nigerian international was close to joining Paris Saint-Germain last year before the deal fell through.
The winger impressed during the 2024/25 season, netting 15 goals and providing five assists in 31 Serie A appearances. Atalanta are reportedly seeking around €60 million for the player.
