Chiamaka Nnadozie Nominated for PFA Fan’s Player of the Month Award

Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the PFA Women’s Super League (WSL) Fans’ Player of the Month award for September.

The 24-year-old joined Brighton on a free transfer from Paris FC over the summer and has quickly established herself as a key player this season.

In her first five league appearances for the Seagulls, Nnadozie kept two clean sheets, helping Brighton earn seven points from their opening five matches. She made an impressive 16 saves across four games, demonstrating a strong save rate, and was named Player of the Match on her WSL debut against Aston Villa.

Nnadozie faces competition for the award from five other nominees:

  • Aggie Beever-Jones (Chelsea)
  • Melvine Malard (Manchester United)
  • Alessia Russo (Arsenal)
  • Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw (Manchester City)
  • Cathinka Tandberg (Tottenham Hotspur)
