According to Kickoff, the club is looking to strengthen its squad this summer and believes selling Nwabali will help achieve this goal.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper joined Chippa United from Nigeria Premier Football League side Katsina United three years ago and is now regarded as one of the top goalkeepers in the South African league.
Chippa United has reportedly identified two potential replacements for the Nigerian international.
Nwabali was linked with a move away from Chippa United last summer following his standout performances for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire, where the Super Eagles finished as runners-up. However, instead of moving to Europe, he signed a new three-year contract and was appointed Chippa United’s captain.
