Gunmen kill three and injure five in a fresh attack on a Plateau community.

At least three people were killed and five others injured in an attack by armed men on Ruwi village in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Intelligence sources informed security analyst Zagazola Makama that the attack took place around 12:20 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025.

The sources revealed that the assailants stormed the community, opening fire on residents before fleeing the scene.

Troops from Operation Safe Haven and other security agencies were quickly deployed to the area, but by the time they arrived, the attackers had already fled.

The injured victims were promptly taken to Dung Clinic for medical treatment, and security forces have launched an intensive manhunt for the perpetrators.
