Cristiano Ronaldo has put an end to speculation about his future by confirming that he will remain with Al Nassr for the upcoming season.

The 40-year-old Portuguese star had been linked with a possible summer exit following a trophyless campaign with the Saudi Pro League club. However, after Portugal’s UEFA Nations League final victory over Spain, Ronaldo made it clear he has no plans to leave.

According to a post by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, Ronaldo dismissed any talk of a move:
“Cristiano Ronaldo confirms plan to stay at Al Nassr by signing a new deal. ‘My future? Basically, nothing is gonna change. Staying at Al Nassr? Yeah.’”

With this announcement, Ronaldo has also ruled out a potential appearance at the upcoming 32-team FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, which kicks off on June 14. He had been previously linked with clubs participating in the tournament, but his commitment to Al Nassr confirms he will not be involved.
