Afrobeats star Davido has slammed publisher and presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore after the latter described his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, as someone who has “nothing upstairs.”
Sowore made the remark while assessing Governor Adeleke’s administration, alleging that the governor does not have full control of the state.
According to Sowore, Adeleke’s sister and his elder brother, Davido’s billionaire father Adedeji Adeleke, are allegedly the ones running the state.
He said he was “appalled” that someone he described as lacking control over his government was governing Osun State.
Reacting to a video of Sowore’s comments, Davido called him “Arindin,” a Yoruba word meaning “fool.”#
