President Bola Tinubu has dismissed reports claiming that he fell ill and was receiving medical treatment in France.
The President spoke to journalists shortly after arriving in Nigeria from France on Tuesday evening, assuring Nigerians that he was in good health and ready to resume his official duties.
Responding to questions about concerns raised by some Nigerians and his supporters over his health towards the end of his vacation, Tinubu said there was no cause for alarm.
“Ready to kick, ready to walk. There’s nothing wrong. Rumour will always be emanating from politics, but the facts remain I’m here. Healthy, sound, and ready to go,” the President said.
Tinubu’s remarks came amid reports and speculation on social media about his health while he was in France.
