“I’m Open to an Open Marriage” — Blaqbonez Shares Thoughts on Why Couples Grow Distant Over Time

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has shared his unconventional views on marriage and intimacy, stating he’s open to the idea of an open marriage.

Speaking on the In My Opinion podcast, the rapper argued that many couples lose their initial spark over time, especially when it comes to physical intimacy.

“I don’t mind having an open marriage,” he said. “Most married couples don’t keep having the same amount of sex they were having at the beginning — it reduces.”

Blaqbonez explained that as long as emotional commitment remains strong, seeking physical satisfaction elsewhere shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. “If somebody is satisfying her sexually while I’m hustling, touring, and unavailable — that is okay. There’s more to marriage than sex. I don’t mind that you’re sleeping with someone else, provided you’re dedicated to me.”

He added that he doesn’t feel easily replaceable in a relationship, noting the emotional and intellectual bond he brings. “They probably can’t make her laugh the way I do,” he said.

Ending on a humorous note, Blaqbonez said that if he ever gets married, he’d prefer to have separate rooms with his partner — “so we only meet when we want to have intimacy.”
