Manchester United is reportedly considering a €40m offer plus Rasmus Højlund as part of a deal to sign Victor Osimhen.
United had previously shown interest in the former African Player of the Year, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray. Osimhen will return to Napoli at the end of the season, with a €75m release clause in his contract.
According to Calciomercato.com (via Football Italia), while United is unwilling to meet Osimhen’s full transfer fee, they are preparing a proposal worth €40m along with Højlund.
Repubblica reported in January that United had already expressed interest in Osimhen during the winter transfer window, but he opted to stay at Galatasaray for the remainder of the season.
Since joining Galatasaray, Osimhen has been in exceptional form, scoring 14 goals and providing four assists in 19 Turkish Super Lig appearances. He has also netted six goals and contributed one assist in seven UEFA Europa League appearances, totaling 20 goals and five assists across all competitions this season.
In contrast, Højlund has faced a challenging 2024-25 campaign with United, registering just seven goals and one assist in 32 appearances across all competitions.
